InfoByQR Inventor Add-In Installer
Download the installer to add the InfoByQR add-in to Autodesk Inventor. The installer places the add-in files on your machine so Inventor can load them automatically.

What the installer does
- Copies the InfoByQR bundle into
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\InfoByQR.bundle. - Registers the add-in for all users on the machine.
- Does not modify your drawings or Inventor settings.
Install steps
- Download the MSI installer.
- Run the installer and approve the admin prompt.
- Restart Autodesk Inventor if it is open.
Enable the add-in in Inventor
- Open Autodesk Inventor.
- Go to Tools → Add-Ins.
- Select InfoByQR Inventor Add-in.
- Tick Loaded/Unloaded and Load on Startup.
- Click OK.
Where the button appears
- The Upload to InfoByQR button appears on the Tools ribbon.
- It only appears when a drawing document is open.
How to use the add-in
- Open a drawing document in Inventor.
- Click Upload to InfoByQR in the Tools ribbon.
- Sign in with your InfoByQR credentials when prompted.
- Select a referenced model (optional) and enter a title and description.
- Click Upload to InfoByQR to create the item and place the QR code in the drawing.
